Orders & Shipping
What are your order processing times and domestic shipping options?
Orders process within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday). We ship within the United States via USPS using three standard delivery options:
Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
Expedited Shipping: 2–3 business days
Overnight Shipping: 1 business day
Do you ship internationally?
No. We currently ship exclusively within the United States.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.
What happens if my delivery is delayed or I enter the wrong address?
Please verify your address at checkout. We are not responsible for packages sent to incorrectly entered addresses, nor are we liable for carrier delays caused by severe weather or high volume.
Returns & Customer Care
What is your return and exchange policy?
Your satisfaction is our priority, but due to safety and hygiene standards, we only accept returns on new and unopened products within 10 days of delivery. Opened or used products cannot be returned.
Who pays for return shipping?
The customer is responsible for all back-and-forth (round-trip) shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges.
What if my package is incorrect or damaged upon arrival?
If your order doesn’t match what you purchased, we will fix it—NO NONSENSE, we promise. For damaged goods: Please notify us within 7 days of delivery. Keep all original packaging/shipping labels and take photos if possible. Damaged claims are filed through USPS. We assist our customers throughout this process and appreciate your patience while carrier claims resolve.
Do you accept backorders?
We do not typically take backorders. If an item is eligible for pre-order or backorder, it will be clearly indicated on the product page.
Perimenopause & Skin Health
Why does skin change so drastically during perimenopause?
Hormonal shifts lower estrogen production, which reduces collagen, thins the epidermis, and weakens the skin barrier—often triggering sudden dryness, lost elasticity, sensitivity, or hormonal breakouts.
How do Spalina formulas specifically target perimenopausal skin?
Developed over years of hands-on practice by founder Spela Hernandez alongside a renowned doctor, Spalina formulas focus on barrier repair, deep cellular hydration, and soothing inflammation without causing irritation.
Can I use Spalina products alongside prescription topicals (like Tretinoin/Retin-A)?
Yes. Prescription topicals can dry out or compromise the skin barrier; pairing them with Spalina’s barrier-reinforcing and hydrating products helps maintain balance. We advise introducing new active formulas gradually.
Are Spalina products safe for sensitive or post-treatment skin?
Yes. Every product is formulated with clean, effective, barrier-supporting ingredients suitable even for inflamed or post-treatment skin.
In-Clinic Treatments & Appointments
How should I prepare for an in-person facial treatment?
Stop using strong exfoliants (AHAs/BHAs, retinoids, or prescription topicals) 3 to 5 days before your visit. Avoid direct sun exposure and DIY extractions prior to your service.
What is the recommended post-treatment care routine?
Keep your routine gentle for 48 hours: use a mild cleanser, hydrate heavily, wear broad-spectrum SPF, and avoid heavy workouts, saunas, or active exfoliants while your skin barrier recovers.
What is your appointment cancellation policy?
We request at least 24 to 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling out of respect for our practitioners' and other clients' schedules.
Can I receive a treatment if I’m on hormonal therapy or medical treatments?
Yes, but please inform your aesthetician prior to your session so we can tailor all modalities and product selections to be safe for your current health profile.
